I’m from Denver, CO and spent time enjoying the many local national forests, parks and backcountry of Colorado as a youth. I love to backpack and spend time in the mountains and have rekindled my passion for the outdoors in the last few years. I have a career working in automotive sales but I am looking to make a change and move in a different direction more in line with my passions and values. I have two young boys I enjoy raising, and I hope to inspire a love for the outdoors in them as well. We currently live in Florida which is full of natural resources and beauty.

I decided to join MAI as a Land Steward Intern because I wanted to pursue a career in conservation and environmental resource management with the Forest Service while experiencing a one-of-kind environment. I am super excited and grateful to get the opportunity to work under the guidance of the Forest Service to protect, preserve and manage the unique natural resources within the Wallowa-Whitman Nation Forest. I truly hope this experience will serve to broaden my horizons and give me opportunities to learn how the USDA and the Forest Service use the tools and techniques they have at hand. I would love to begin a career managing the exceptional and unparalleled natural resources under the protection of the Forest Service.
