Since the last time I updated everyone on my previous blog during the wintertime, a lot of stuff has happened. I’ve been traveling a lot in the Mt. Hood National Forest for my job, recently doing condition surveys at various campgrounds and Forest Service buildings. The following pictures show some of the awesome places I have visited for work.
On the career development side of things, stuff has been extremely busy as well. I’ve spent about a month and a half taking classes and getting certified in various qualifications. I have attended guard school and received my red card for wildland firefighting, became a s-212 fire fighting chainsaw class A and class C sawyer, and started the first year of a 3 year blasting qualifications program. I look forward to seeing what the rest of my term has in store for me.
