2023 Summer Camp Manager Position Description.pdf

Greetings, Friends of Mt. Adams Institute.

We have had a busy year and wanted to share some updates. Many may know that Brendan Norman (our founder) has officially stepped away from our organization. His dedication has been amazing, and we are sad to see him go but also excited to hear about his upcoming adventures.

We initially filled his position with a new executive director last spring, and we were excited about all the new ideas and resources they would bring. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and they needed to leave MAI. We sincerely wish them well on their journey.

As for MAI, we are doing well. We have embraced a hybrid workplace, updated the office, hired two new staff, and have a strong board of directors.

As we move forward with our programming, we are still searching for a new Executive Director. Our hope is that you, or someone you know, would be interested in joining this great staff and board. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is dedicated to our mission
  • Has a background in leading non-profit organization(s)
  • Is committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Can invest in our staff and community

We are so grateful for all the support we have received from our vast community, and we look forward to connecting with you more in the future.

Warm Regards,

MAI Staff & Board
