Hi, I am Colby Killingsworth. I was born in Alaska, and raised in a small town of Paris, Texas. I have been living in Nashville, TN for the past six years. I am an Army Veteran; served from 2010-2016. I have always enjoyed the outdoors from an early age of going and exploring the outdoors with my family.
I enjoy photography, bird watching, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, camping and just plain old walking in the creeks. My time spent in Nashville has brought me closer to the outdoors and has made me more passion about it. I spent my time working just to leave and escape the big city to go be in nature.
Through my travels in the states, I have been to over 20 National Parks and numerous state parks. Who doesn’t love a good road trip ?
I am excited to spend a season with MAI exploring all of the recreational career opportunities that are out there. I am looking forward to learning and gaining as much experience to bring a passion for the outdoors into a career. I have thoroughly enjoyed the public lands throughout my travels and I am ready to learn how I can help others so that they too, can have meaningful experiences on the public lands as I have had.
