Since my last blog things at the district have only gotten better. I’ve been able to get more acquainted with the people and more involved with handling daily tasks. Also, getting to work alongside different groups throughout the district has made me more knowledgeable about what takes place in the forest. Recently, the district was approved for more job openings in recreation for next year. With the help of my supervisor and a few others at the district, I am hoping to be able to secure a job for next year. Everyone here has been helpful in trying to make me as eligible as possible to get a job. This internship has been full of positive experiences and I know I’ll have even more to say in my next blog.
