Meet Shelby Polston – 2021 Public Lands Stewards Intern

by | Land Stewards

Shelby (she/her) was raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and has worked as an outdoor guide and environmental educator throughout the Pacific Northwest. After receiving her B.A. in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Outdoor Leadership, she followed her calling to help others achieve personal development through transformational experiences in the outdoors. This calling led her to Mt. Adams Institute as a Summer Camp Educator. She looks forward to exploring with and creating a sense of wonder for campers this summer and cannot wait to meet you all.

Outside of her role as an educator, Shelby enjoys whitewater boating and hiking but is always looking for suggestions on new ways to get outside and experience nature.
