Jaron is a senior at Texas A&M University, majoring in GIST (Geographic Information Science and Technology) and minoring in Urban & Regional Planning and Environmental Geosciences. His passions revolve around finding linkages to mitigate and spread awareness of society’s impact on the environment. He constantly educates himself on the ever-changing environment and strives to understand the spatial relationships between our actions and the potential unseen consequences.

Out of the classroom, Jaron enjoys hiking through the pine forests of East Texas, filling out trip itineraries that revolve around cuisine, and giving back to communities in need.
