2022 Land Stewards: Alexander Golman

by | Land Stewards, LS 2022

Hello, my name is Alexander, and I was born and raised in Chicago. I attended Southern Illinois University from 2014 to 2019 and studied architecture, landscaping, and history. Currently, I am in Chicago as a landscape designer for a high-end residential firm.

Previously I worked as an AmeriCorps intern for the Potomac Highlands Fuller Center, building a house for a disabled Veteran in West Virginia. I enjoy getting out of the city to visit Michigan and Colorado where I go camping, hiking, swimming, climbing, hunting, and fishing.

My enjoyment of service work and the outdoors led me to find Mt. Adams Institute and the AmeriCorps internship. I hope to share my fondness and connection with our natural environments with others and create positive relations and memories of them.
