I grew up in Ohio. I joined the Air Force in 2001 and still continue to serve as a Reservist. I am an avid hiker and backpacker, having completed the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018 as well as the Colorado Trail in 2019. I recently graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in environmental science.
I am excited to be a part of the VetsWork AmeriCorps internship program with Willamette Riverkeeper and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration doing river restoration work which I am very passionate about.
