Claire grew up in Chicago, IL and discovered her love for nature while attending college in small town Wisconsin. A reformed outdoor enthusiast, Claire is interested in the intersection of art and nature, the life-changing experiences of outdoor education, and the joy of being out in the woods. She is currently working towards a master’s degree in science writing from Johns Hopkins University.
In her free time, she enjoys playing ultimate Frisbee, cross-country skiing, hiking, reading and writing.
