Lindsey is a life-long Oregonian, educator, Persian Gulf Veteran (USAF 1991-98), and enrolled member of one of the nine tribes in Oregon; and service a second term as Chairman of the General Council, for the Board of Trustees of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR).
As an educator, he has been involved in Oregon Indian Education, workforce development, and health advocacy for the past 25 years…with an equal blend of on and off-reservation experience and capacity-building roles.
He is a proud father of 7 children, and two grandsons.
MAI matters to Lindsey due to its especial focus on youth and veterans. Having facilitated suicide intervention training (these two groups are highly affected), and perhaps a role I can bring to bridge the innovative and high quality of MAI programming…to these audiences.
