Aaron Lindsey’s MAI internship brought his passion for dirt bikes and the outdoors to life, giving him a summer of adventure, learning, and unforgettable connections.
Mt. Adams Institute gave me an incredible opportunity to chase a passion (dirt bikes and the outdoors) I’ve had since I was a young boy—a passion I thought I would never be able to pursue due to the fact that you could only get paid to do it if you were a professional, which I never thought I would be. My internship with Mt. Adams Institute connected me with the USFS Entiat Ranger District in the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forest, where, fortunately for me, they ride a lot of dirt bikes. I got tied in with a bunch of awesome people and had an absolutely amazing summer in an incredibly beautiful place. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to spend more time outdoors, and given the opportunity, I will happily be coming back next year.
