VetsWork Program Coordinator

Amber grew up in a small rural farming community in northeast Iowa but found her second home in the Columbia Gorge. With a degree in Global Resource Systems from Iowa State University, her career has taken her from working with rural farming communities in Uganda and Nicaragua to guiding outdoor adventures across Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington. Now, as the VetsWork Program Coordinator at Mt. Adams Institute, she’s excited to support veterans in building meaningful careers that connect them with the natural world.

In her free time, Amber enjoys fly fishing, kayaking, and exploring the outdoors.
