I am originally from Dillon, Colorado, and moved to Eugene, Oregon, in September. I graduated from Western Colorado University in Gunnison with a bachelor’s degree in studio arts with an emphasis in painting. Some of my favorite things to do in the outdoors are backpacking/hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and rock climbing. Recently I’ve also been trying to take more pictures as I hike to use as a reference for paintings!
I decided to join Mt. Adam’s Land Steward program because I was looking for careers associated with the outdoors and forestry. I have a great love for the outdoors and wanted to choose a career that revolves around that interest. I am most excited for the multi-day trips into the backcountry as it will be a great way to increase my knowledge and experience in backpacking. I am also looking forward to being a part of what keeps our wilderness trails maintained and enjoyable for people in the hiking community!
